Wind Power

The wind turbines are usually located at higher places of strong thunderstorm areas, such as the coast, hills, and mountain ridges where are far away from other tall objects and are therefore vulnerable to lightning strikes.
Wind turbines are valuable equipment for wind farms and their prices account for more than 60% of wind power project investment. If it’s struck by lightning (especially hit on blades and generators ), it will cause huge cost for its maintenance, such as dismounting work, part or assembly replacement, electric system overhaul time, new part ordering and transportation etc. even not including the loss of profit from normal operation.
According to the needs of wind power lightning protection, ZG proposed an integrated lightning protection solution.
